A Toasty Halloween Treat

These cupcakes are not only that but they will keep your feet warm!

Supplies Needed:

1 pair ladies or childrens socks in halloween colors (I chose black)
1 sheet or cardstock or patterned paper(I chose Bo-Bunny’s Boo Crew)
Glue Dots
Sparkly Fluff by Our Craft Lounge
Scallop Circle Punch by EK Success for Stampin’ Up
Gussetted Treat Bag
Rubberband
Metal Rimmed tag
Charcoal Cat Eye by ColorBox
Halloween Stamp by Li’l Davis Designs
Misc. Ribbon

First fold your sock in half. This folded edge will be the top of your cupcake, the frosting. Then roll the sock starting at the cuff of the sock going towards the toe. Once you have finished rolling place your rubberband on the bottom half to hold the sock in place. Don’t get discouraged if you don’t get a great result the first time. It takes my several tries before I get the look I desire. Set this aside while you work on your cupcake liner

I have programmed into my Pazzles Inspiration my pattern for the cupcake liner so I cut mine out using that. If you are interested and have a Pazzles inspiration please let me know and I will e-mail you my pattern. If you don’t you can also find a pattern at http://www.skiptomylou.org/ or use a cupcake liner from your kitchen cupboard. If you are doing childrens socks…depending on the size you may need to use a mini liner.
I use Craft and Mini Glue Dots and place them randomly on my cupcake liner and then cover them with Sparkly Fluff to add a little dimension and texture to my project.
Then I use Memory Glue Dots to assemble my cupcake liner. I chose memory because they are ultra thin and don’t add any bulk.
After I have assembled my liner I place my sock cupcake inside and put it into a gusseted treat bag. I tie the bag shut with a simple piece of ribbon and create a tag using coordinating paper punched with scallop circle punch and a metal rimmed rectangle tag stamped with a spider.
